Notifications over 1000

Karl Karlstad


When my home center lite get over 1000 notifications it's getting extreamly slow. Not after a holiday and its over 2000 I am not able to logon to it or control it at all. Any tips ??

In case of HCL, if you have backup, then make recovery adn restore backup.


And my currious question: What generates you that amount of notification?


I had simmilar issue with HC2. Had 1945 notifications and loading of main page took me something about 5 minutes. Then about 5 min to notification server and clean it up.

Hi @Karl Karlstad,


The general advice for such cases is to limit notifications. However, it is a truly personal matter what in this situation generates so many notifications. We have experienced badly designed devices which reported their status via notifications in the past.


You could also shed some light about your current setup (hardware and firmware version).

  • It's an Nexa plugin dimmer, it's show up as Everspring, I see old cases about same dimmer that is really old and that is missing support for it.

    It's working ok, But in eventlog it's say [Power has been applied] and this is reported each 4 min continuously.


    Its and HC Lite, have had same problems during last 3 firmware versions, now on

    After each reboot og HC it show me "Devices without templates" so I guess ned a template or a nexa controller

    you are not alone, see 



    it is general problem with notification class implementation on everspring modules, they simply sending too many notifications and even worse without any reason (like status not chnaged for 5 minutes but 5 notifications about not changed status). There is as well no option to disable them or to set anything. For now all we can do is to make pressure on everspring to let them change the firmware (luckily affected products supports OTA).

    Btw, this is device problem, and everspring know this already, but still no new firmware released (they are busy working on new products ... nice products, but i hope this time with option in the firmware to set how/when notification will get sent)
