No internet connection when connected via 4G

kimbo

Question

Since the last update I'm having issues that I cannot connect anymore when I'm connected via 4G (having HC2), it says "No internet connection".
Last week I installed also a new HCL at my parents house and they are experiencing the same issue.
When connected via Wifi, everything works fine.

    Which fw revision are you on ?

    I'm on 4.130 on a hc2 and can access over 4g without problem

    For both HC2 and HCL the version is the same as yours. For my system connected to the HC2 it seems to be working again after a few attempts. Reconnect external and then connect internet and search gateway. Need to see if this will also work with my parents phone.

    @kimbo

    Could it have been a break or low signal situation with the network provider ?

    I have noticed that if I am in a low signal area I cannot remote connect as the fibaro app times out

    Well the signal bar only displayed one in 4G, though I could connect. Will test it some more its behaviour.

    A nice feature is the finger print to disarm the alarm.

    Wish fibaro had already an alarm panel so I could arm/disarm next to the door.

    @kimbo, are you using the App or the browser?  If you're using the browser please check if you have enabled internet access for the App (iOS)

  • @Landshark, we are all using Android and mobile data is active all the time when not connected via Wifi.
