The status of light in a global variable

syntez

Question

Hello,

Tell me, knowing guys)
I wrote a scene that tracks the state of light in the room and passes it to a global variable. But this scene constantly reports that too many instances are running (

The room has a physical switch that, depending on this global variable, turns off or turns on the light in the opposite direction.

Maybe there is a more elegant way to write this scene?

Thanks )

What are you going to do with global values, show them in a virtual device?
If you just want to read the values of a virtual device, it's better to read the status of the breaker directly and send the values to an VD with four Labels.

The status is updated each time a light comes on or off.

    Thanks for Your response,

I use global variables to a wall switch, by means of them, I define the state of the lighting in the room and translate the light in the opposite state.

The button of the wall switch is connected to the S2 dimmer

I'm not 100% sure I understand what you actually want to do, but I think you want to toggle several lights at once... If that is the case, could you please try this scene? It does not use a global variable.

It seems that this is exactly what I need,
Many thanks for the help and idea :)

The scene is working, I'll check the clicks on the wall switch in the evening! )
