CodeMirror in Fullscreen

Donk

Question

Hi,

When editing a scene in lua the screen is very small. So I got this script to add a fullscreen button to make it easier to read en edit my lua, you paste the code in my Developer Console and hit enter. But of course after a refresh the button is gone.

Please login or register to see this code.

Can you add the fullscreen add-on from CodeMirror to the editor (

Please login or register to see this link.

)? I needed to add a button in stead of using the F11 because it wasn't working on my MacBook.

Kind regards,

Giedo

hi @Donk,

I totally agree to your request. The LUA Editor window is way to small.

Some use external editors (which I don't like because you have to copy paste each time).

I myself use this solution here, it's not perfect but better than nothing. I will happily remove it when Fibaro comes up with a fixed LUA editor in version 4.<insert any high number> after christmas of <insert any high number for year>.

Edit: I added a user-style to which can be downloaded here:

Maybe you want to edit the ruleset to apply it to specific scenes you are working on only.

  • Hi @kroeatschge,

Thanks for the other solution and idea.

I've put my solution in an other plugin called "User JavaScript and CSS" (

). It works great now, just changed my code a bit.

But a plugin independent solution would be the best!
