RooWiFi Virtual Device in HCL

Question

Hi there,

 

I'm trying to set up a Virtual Device in my HCL to control the Roomba at home over a RooWiFi board. I tried the code shown in

, but cannot get it to work. I was just wondering if this is because the hub is a HCL (and not a HC2) or something else, anyone with a similar experience that could provide some light?

Hi @spordomingo,

 

Code should look like this in HCL:

RooWiFi_IP --> IP adress of RooWiFi module.

YWRtaW46cm9vbWJhd2lmaQ== --> username and password encoded in base64 in format username:password

 

And most important do not forget double-Enter in that commad. Blank row separates HTTP head from body even if body is empty.

 

I used following sollution when iRobot in CZ approched us (Yatun company) to test it with our systems (Fibaro and Control4):
