I have a question.
If any person on this forum use asus routers (such as RT-AC68U or 86, 88 with asus-merlin firmware) and for WAN failover modem from ex. Huawei (like e3372 lte modem) with hilink?
If yes, I am preparing VD to control Internet connection and send SMS (possibly to receive in the future) by HC2 via modem. I create my VD for myself, but if someone has same configuration I will do it more neatly and I will share on the forum with my result.
My configuration is RT-AC68U connected to ADSL modem and e3372 lte modem.
The VD for work need to install on ASUS:
usb memory, merlin firmware, entware-opt, lighttpd with php and json support
and added:
two php pages, two sh scripts,
modification of iptables to access failover modem api for check status and send sms (the version Hilink is not accesible by asus router api or tty device but by own web page in separate network).
