Blank screen while changing admin password on IE on HCL

kunoch

Question

I do not know about HC2, but on HCL I get the best results with ie (in private mode). The only issue I face with ie is that when trying to change the password for the administrator, I get a blank screen, so I use chrome for this.

changing screens in ie takes around 3 sec or so. sometimes it takes up to 30, even when 'similar' window changes are made. Why? I have no clue.

Do you try to change this password via local or remote access?

  • @I.Srodka: when being in the local network, using ie 11.0.9600.18837 Update Version 11.0.48 (KB4047206) in normal and in private mode.

    The window opens very fast but there is no content.

    Okay, local network but also local access via IP address right?

    Does the password change works for you in other browsers (for example, Chrome)?

    Yes, it works in Chrome and Firefox. but ie in private mode is much faster to show the content of the pages than chrome or Ff. ie in normal mode is almost unusable, takes endless to load any information the bubbles are rotating 'forever'.

    @kunoch,

    If there are problems only with password changing on IE, you could always use other browser for this as a temporary workaround.

    As far as other browsers are concerned:

    You can try to clear cache and cookies in those browsers:
