Scene with a motion sensor and lighting misbehaves

Berne

Question

Hi,

I have programmed a fibaro motion sensor. according to the scene below.
When the time is over after 240 seconds, and I am still in the room, the lighting is no longer on. The fibaro motion does react, but does not switch on the lighting. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance

Regards Ben

You must delete the last line, and bij putting on (aanzetten) you must set the time on 240. That must working if i have right.

I would make it in lua to make sure that the motion device will rediscover movement after some time. I have never trusted blocks to trigger more than one instance.

@Thomasnhe has a Fibaro lite. They don't have lua?

Ahh, yes. Lua and HC light is like water on a goose’s back.

Exactly. It is a delay connected to the block. I think you got it right in your first attempt. But I use lua and is not familiar with blocks. As I see it, you need something to trigger the scene again after the lamp has been turned off.

How about trying this: lux sensor first, motion second...

Your right, the first attempt was right i was thinking wrong. Forget what i said in my first post.

I was trying it too but the scene was not activated if the motion sensor is triggered.

  • thanks for your reaction Thomasn, but this is unfortunately not the right solution. I think the LUX value is lagging behind. if the light is on, 0 LUX is indicated. and if the light is off, 180 LUX is indicated, so the light does not go on, how can I adjust this?

I have found this, i don't know if you have already the answer.

I have a scene with a fibaro motion sensor and a fibaro Dimmer 2. Does anybody know what can be done to overrule the scene once the light has been switched on manually at the Switch?

    Just now, Reinhold said:

I think that can not be done in block scenes. You must make a lua scene.

Not familiar at all with Lua, wouldn’t know where to start.
