Question

Builders of my house has laid cables for Dallas temperature sensors, but by mistake laid cable with only 2 wires. UBS needs 3 wires, but since Dallas sensor support 1-wire, 2 wires should be enough. I've read thousands pages in the internet and found out which 2 cables could be crossed, but UBS while paring with home center doesn't see temperature sensor.
Has anybody succeeded with connecting it that way? Could anybody help me? Now it's to late to change those cables and it's crucial for me to have temperature readouts throughout my home.
Thank you in advance for help!
