Yeah, but I thought that I need to buy this google home speaker, like I had to do with Alexa. Its not the case, phone is enough.

Unfortunately, blinds are not controlled yet.

Thermostats (for example The Heat Controller) can be set via "Talk to Fibaro" - it may not be available via Google Home Control.

In order to update the installation in Google Home Control use this command:

    Hey Google, sync my devices.

What kind of scenes do you have? Magic, Block or LUA?

    Hi @T.Konopka,

When it will be integrated as the other modules? Without "Talk to Fibaro". Or at least... this will happen at a moment?

As I said, I have multiple thermostats (different brands) which are controlled with a gateway from google home.

    Regards.

The scenes are in LUA. I am guessing this is the reason why they are not supported?

Can you clarify which scene types are supported please?

  • @mrtn , yes, this is the reason. The integration supports Block scenes only (similarly to Alexa integration).

OK thanks for letting me know, it's an easy fix for me.

Actually that's what I thought but it still doesn't work.

I wonder whether it's because my block scene pushes a button on a virtual device. Would that be the reason why it's not showing in the Home app?

  • @mrtn , that's exactly why:

For your safety Google Home service does not allow to control devices connected with security. Devices of types listed below and scenes that control such devices will not be discovered:
    – Doorlocks (e.g. Kwikset, Shlage)
    – Intercoms (e.g. Mobotix, Helios)
    – Alarms (e.g. Satel, DSC)
    – Security sensors and barriers (e.g. motion sensors, door sensors)
    – Virtual Devices

@T.Konopkawhy not skip these restrictions and leave it up to the owner to decide which scenes and devices are allowed through google assistant. You can twerk it anyway by just changing the scene after it has been added. I have a lot of custumized virtual devices for hue sonos and av handling so would be nice to just activate those needed operation using google assistant and scenes. Then I believe it would be easy also to allow lua scenes.

  • @Chicizola , it is not possible at the moment :( But, we are hopeful that we will have a green light to introduce these devices to voice assistants integrations in the near future :)

OK thanks for the response.. Let's hope it will be possible to add any scene to google assistant in time.. As mentioned you can do it if you plan it well. If you add all the scenes you plan to have (in allowed format) after adding them to google assistant you can cange it to whatever you like.. but if something gets messed up or you need to sync Fibaro and google assistant you have to start over :(. Crossing fingers if it will be allowed in future.. Makes no sense it is not allowed!

It appears block scenes should synchronize with google assistant/home.  However none of them appears in google home even after unlinking and linking again.  Anybody an idea as to why they do not sync ?

Well, that's what I'm reading on the forum, block scenes do synchronize, LUA scenes currently not ... but I cannot make it work for me ...
