Wife mode in app

So... I like the app, but for other members in the family the app is bit complicated.

All they want to do is to handle the lights.

I would like a setting in the app that makes the GUI more simple.

For my family, we only need one room view where you can handle the lights.

Anyone else that would like to give your family a simpler experience?

Great Idea @marlov74!

I had the same problem this morning as I introduced Fibaro (Android tablet) to my grandparents.

There should be something like the hotelmode...but enhanced (choose several rooms, hiding symbols for modules that are not installed)

Did you already create a seperate user for whom you allow only the necessary modules and scenes ?

User "wife": access to lights only (no other devices or scenes)

guys have you tried Imperihome app?

this app allows you to create a single page with whatever number of buttons you need and assign each box to a device or scene.

so just open app and click on a button...

As mentioned several times before, the app should have a makeover ... asap :/

ImperiHome is suitable for a small installation with less user / mobile devices...otherwise you have to pay 4,99€/month.

But the product they offer is great.

Agree the app has limitations and is too many clicks for  simple tasks.

The third party builders are very good but if you do not like the idea of using a third party interface builder, you could simplify things a  little by creating a user with access to a small number of devices and rooms for the room or person.

@tinman: thx for this hint. Looks great. Are you used to it ? I am afraid of storing my several logins in a third party app...

Hello,

A great way to fix this is if they make the app so you can hide tumbnails. So when you open the app you can hide all the buttons you don't want to see.

This should be done regardless of simplyfying. I belive there is a button for sprinklers.. I live in an appartment in the 2floor, I don't have any sprinklers so I don't need/want to see that icon :P
