Hi @wojtas810!

We would like to help you but you need to clarify your problem a bit better.

You have a Sonos skill installed and it is added to Alexa directly right?

Then you have a Fibaro skill added to Alexa and you can't use your roller shutter?

    Hi again!

I think I know what you mean.

Please look at the Knowledge Base article:

Please login or register to see this link.

I think the most interesting for you parts are:

    Quote

For your safety Alexa service does not allow to control devices connected with security. Devices of types listed below and scenes that control such devices will not be discovered:

    • Cameras
    • Doorlocks (e.g. Kwikset, Shlage)
    • Intercoms (e.g. Mobotix, Helios)
    • Alarms (e.g. Satel, DSC)
    • Security sensors and barriers (e.g. motion sensors, door sensors)
    • Virtual Devices

Magic and Lua scenes are not supported!

So, first of all, security sensors and barriers are not allowed to be controlled. Imagine that someone walks up to your windows and shout "Alexa open doors". I know you mean roller shutter, but that is also categorized as a security barrier.

Secondly, magic and lua scenes are not supported, similarly to scenes which includes security barriers (for example, roller shutters).

@I.Srodka Thank you very much for your clarification I did not see that yet. I understand the concerns but also think that you only should warn about it and let the user choose.

I will now end up with ha bridge to fulfill my needs and that is only another attack surface.

Also @wojtas810 has probably a Sonos Speaker with alexa integration, the newest generation has built in microphones and the support alexa and also will support Google Home.

Yes, it depends on user configuration.

Generally, Roller Shutter in a default configuration should be controllable via our Custom Skill for Alexa.
