[SOLVED]Program button to interrupt scene or launch another one

Raulprivate

Question

Hi,

Is it possible to interrupt a scene when a button is pushed? Either to interrupt it or launch another scene.

I already have remote control with 4 buttons but I'd like to also buy an emergency button that would terminate the scene that is running.

Could you please give me a hand with this or refer me to any other open topic related to this?

Thanks a lot!

Raul.

Yes. It is possible

        if (tonumber(fibaro:getValue(switch, "value"))) > 0 then -- ID on switch to trigger
            fibaro:debug("Switch used manually - Jumping scene");
            fibaro:startScene(scenenumber) -- ID on scene to activate
        end

And if you just want to stop the scene

        if (tonumber(fibaro:getValue(switch, "value"))) > 0 then
             fibaro:debug("Switch used manually - Killing scene");
             fibaro:abort();
        end

@Raulprivate I'm not sure what you need, if you would like to abort a scene from within the scene @Thomasn gave you already the solution.

Also you have the option to kill or deactivate a scene from another scene or Virtual Device.
