Kettle for smart home

HI All,

 

What is your experience with kettle for hot water boiling which is integrated with smart house.

 

There are several models from different manufacturers available in the market and it is really hard to select.

Of course to have it integrated the REST API has to be available and documented.

 

The product I like is APPKETTLE

Yesterday I finished ikettle v2 VD and have full control, ill share it after test.

HTTP controlling through ibrew bridge (it could be integrated without bridge, but for me its difficult for now)

can check water level before start

can boil to certain temperatures and keep warm as you wish (all command in attach file)

home bridge integration through http plugin

premium look

 

- (not big for me)

no buttons with program on the base

no glass to see how much water in it

prise

for gen3 there are no API and documentation

@Trr nice you did a selection and share you work here.

 

I do not have any smart kettle yet, but the selection is made. I will go ofor APPKETTLE.

 

It has buttons in the base and glass window for water level -- the rest you can ask uncle google

@gucio1234 a looked also Xiaomi, but found no way to control it.
