I couldn't find a Z-wave enabled dimmer that supports the DALI Interface out of the box.

Here are some images of DALI wireings (sorry for german screens) that i took from the hom.ee forum.

Hello,

I believe, that Qubino 0-10V dimmer, with that converter could be only sollution if you want preserve most of your wiring.

For some centralized usage (DALI gateway and all lights on DALI).

In past we did some intergration with Foxtrons DALInet:

but it was in Neets system. In Fibaro we integrated DALI scenes (16 of them).

  • I don't have any wireing yet. Also the ligths are to be bought still.

It's a one time chance to get it right before moveing into our new flat. the whole electrical installation is done from scratch.

I'll have a chat with my electrician tomorrow to find out what he knows about DALI and if he has a clue :)

do you have some examples on this for me ? I am looking for an answer how to controll dali dimmers with Fibaro (or better said, power driven dimmer modules... for LED lights)

    Hi @SpaceCompany,

Below is VD, that i made in HCL and one that worked for us with DALI demo kit. And since this has to be working in HCL, then please, do not expect LUA code in VD.

Also it is named in CZ, so Scény_DALI means Scenes_DALI.

    Best regards,

    Jakub

Did you ever manage to get this working? I am also considering some DALI lights. Qubino or RGB Module seem to come to mind as a solution.

  • no, I never got this solved. most DALI dimmers also offer a push-to-dim function. this would only require a mains voltage to be applied for some time to dim up or down.

Unfortunately I'm not aware of a module that supports this. It would have to supply mains power as long as you hold a toggle switch.

Fibaro switch module connected to a pulse but with setting for normal switch would do that

El módulo de conmutador Fibaro conectado a un pulso, pero con la configuración para un conmutador normal haría eso

Good morning, how would that be?

    Sorry for the late reply,

If you install a pulse switch and connect it to a Fibaro switch module you could achieve this, but after thinking it through, it is completely useless. Lights would always show off in the app, dimming on your phone would have to be switch on ... wait ... switch off etc.

So can be done, but not usefull

    Hi,

Also interested on how it could work.

I've a Home Center 3 and a DALI spot using that ballast :

For now, it's only on/off thanks to a Fibaro switch.

    But how to dim ?
