Bypass2 and WAGO connector

Al3x

Question

has anyone used a wago connector with a bypass 2 in its own port? i am wondering if i can just use a 3 port wago connector to join them all together or must the bypass explicitly be in the same port as the light fitting

If understand you correctly, you want to use two wago connectors for let's say your comfort -  quicker assembly/disassembly, so there is no need to screw two wires in one hole of dimmer, right?

The answer is yes. But this question makes me feel confused about your understanding of electricity, so be sure to take off the fuse ;)

More confused over how this Bypass 2 works with LED as my house is full of ceiling rose wiring not your more modern wiring.

Please take note that the wires attached to the bypass are intertwined wires with some solid part at the end. It is very hard to get them back out of the wago. You often end up pulling off the solid part for it to remain in the wago....

Skating i found that this only happens on earlier bypass models made around 2015, any bypass made 2017+ the cables are much thicker and no chance of them getting caught.

those made earlier are so flimsy and will get caught.
