Add parameter goes back to default?

I want to add a parameter to a Coolcam motion sensor, as below in the photo

I click on save and on top in the display it says: 

[20:05:24] ID 412: Set parameter 2, value = 5

 

Its not yet received by the motion sensor. What do I need to do, so that the settings is been received by the sensor?

Hi @samuel,

 

Seems to me that you only sent parameters, but HC waiting for motion sensor wakes up.

 

Please, try following steps:

1. Set parameter
2. Save settings
3. Wake up you motion sensor or wait till it wake up itself (could be few hours).
4. Reload web page.
   • Then you should see, what set parameter is.

BUI will not show new parameters, till HC does not get confirmation from motion sensor, that it set this parameter in its memory.

Apparently I did that:

Set parameter

Save settings

Pressed once the b-button from the motion sensor (to wakeup the sensor)

Then in the display on top it said: "Received parameter 2, value = 30"

30 = 30 seconds (default) That's why I got puzzled. the default parameter in the blue area from the photo above, shows 30.

I tried a couple of times, like instead 5 > 05 > no success

 

Any other suggestions?

if size is 1 then use 1d

Sorry for correction. In first post @samuel wrote about Coolcam motion sensor, not Fibaro one . And apparently he has it right according to manual from here:

@samuel, please take Motion sensor near your HC and set your desired parameters again. Even if it is certified, it is still china product (from Shenzen). When you wake up your Neo motion sensor, then please check if you receive something like this: "ID XX:Report from parameter Y received, value Z."

But then no change. so i left it in how it was. next day i took a look again. and somehow it was changed to the setting it had set it.
