Humidity Panel (linked devices) - humidifier or dehumidifier

TimJWatts

Question

Hi,

The manual is ambiguous - is the Humidity Panel designed to switch a humidifier or a dehumidifier?

I've been trying to link an AEON multisensor (round one) and a TKB 13A switch to drive a dehumidifier in the shed.

Seems to be coming on when it should be off, so I wondered...

If anyone could confirm, it would save a lot of time :)

Many thanks, Tim

This would have been interesting to know for me too.. I have problems with this panel too.. It does not come on at all actually... Do anyone know the tolerances in % RH when it should start? .. I mean if it's set to 60% when will it start the dehumidifier? at 60% or 61 or 62? or 65? :) When will it turn off again? at 59? or lower?

Hi. I am also looking for a solution to my humidity issues at home. I´m looking for a dehumidifier machine that could be run in scene using NetAtmo weather station inner module´s measurements. And also how could be the machine run in Fibaro, what Fibaro product and dehumidifier to use. Any suggestions please? JJ

To state the fact I've been longing to known this, there is no doubt that high humidity obviously causes some adverse effect it causes the condensation of moisture on the air. the best way to prevent damage from condensation  and corrosion is to control the humidity and airborne molecular contamination . also

maintains the moisture levels  less than 50% RH at ambient condition.
