FGS-223 flooding with meter reports

sixtyace

Question

Hi,

I'd like to use a FGS-223  double switch (firmware v3.2) with a Razberry Z-Wave.me controller (firmware 05.23). I don't need any power or energy reports but just plain Z-Wave switches.

From customer support I've already learned that with firmware 3.2 there's an issue in switching power and energy reports off (e.g. parameter 51 = 0 and 53 = 0). So the only alternative is to decrease the reporting frequency and increase the trigger thresholds as much as possible (parameter 50 = 100; 51 = 120; 53 = 32000; 54= 100; 55 = 120; 57 = 32000; 58 = 32000; 59 = 32000). But still node 1 sends meter reports approxemately every 30s and node 2 is even worth. Within seconds there are meter reports like this flooding my Z-Wave network:

Meter Report (21, 44, 00, 00, 00, 00, 00, 00)

Is it only me having this issue? Might this be caused due to some incompatibilites between the Fibaro module and the controller? Would a firmware update of the switch to version v3.3 solve the issue?

Thanks for any feedback

I have the same problem. In my about 30 node network, I see multiple reports every second. I guess this is why my HCL is responding very slow. Anybody with a solution?

I also want to turn off the energy reports. My devices have firmware v3.3 => Do you know if the issue in switching off the power and energy reports (e.g. parameter 51 = 0 and 53 = 0) has been resolved in v3.3 ??
