Hi guys!

Have you read the FAQ about Alexa?

28. Why some of my devices/scene were not discovered?

For your safety Alexa service does not allow to control devices connected with security. Devices of types listed below and scenes that control such devices will not be discovered:

  • Cameras
  • Doorlocks (e.g. Kwikset, Shlage)
  • Intercoms (e.g. Mobotix, Helios)
  • Alarms (e.g. Satel, DSC)
  • Security sensors and barriers (e.g. motion sensors, door sensors)
  • Virtual Devices

Magic and Lua scenes are not supported!

Maybe this will explain the difference in numbers.

    Hi @vmuscariello,

    In this case, the scene may be invisible to Alexa due to the "doors" (because it's a security elements) or due to the fact that some of these devices was added in the security mode.

    So If I understand you correctly, Fibaro lets Lilli retire and gets maried with Alexa and Google. But a simple start of a scene, written in Lua is not possible ? o.O

    No, it is not possible as it is still a LUA scene. The solution does not differentiate between simple and complex scenes, all LUA scenes are not supported in Alexa. Sorry.

    So what answer has Fibaro to this problem? What sugestion is Fibaro gonna make if they retire Lilli but the new stand in, will not be able to use a voice command to start a scène?

    We have no answer to this. Lili is no longer available in the system, and that's it. We will focus on improving and developing integration with Alexa (and Google Home) as we informed.

    The case with Alexa not working with LUA and Magic scenes, or scenes involving any of the devices from the list in FAQ is a result of Alexa integration - simply the manufacturer does not allow 'security' modules or complex scenes work with the assistant. There's not much we can do about it now. We are aware that there are users who used Lili and they can be disappointed with her retirement, but we made the decision and we will do our best to improve and develop the integrations with aforementioned voice assistants.

    Hello,

    With a trick it is possible to start Lua scenes:  Video is in German but here short Info:

    Example:

    You want start Lua Szene 'Light on'. Than Create a a graphic Szene with "Name Light on". And content see attatchment image content:

    all_time_on is a global var with value 1 -> its all time 1 its only that the if is working

    in the then area you set than a other global var from 0 to 1

    than its important that you add any device what you do on and off i dont no why but when i set only the globel var the scene dont go to alex. i have a wallplug -> it is nothing included only for scenes

    in your lua scene you set your var what you set to 1 as trigger:

    --[[
    %% properties
    %% events
    %% globals
    alexa_alle_aus
    --]]

    in your lua scene is important that you set the global var back to 0

    fibaro:setGlobal('alexa_alle_aus',0);

    and you must add this if ->

    local trigger = fibaro:getSourceTrigger();

    if ((trigger['type'] == 'global' and fibaro:getGlobal('alexa_alle_aus') == '1') or trigger['type'] == 'property' or trigger['type'] == 'other')
    then

    -- here your lua code

    end

    when you dont set the if you szene rund 2 times first when you set the global var to 1 secound time when you set global var back to 0

    i hope its help you.

    So if I understand you correct, you say it's the descision of Amazon, the echo is not capabele of controlling scènes Where security is the issue?

    How come then that there are doorlocks available which can be controled natively by Alexa dot?
