[SUBMITTED]Send email notification with a subject field

Question

Hi All,

I'm new to this community and the Fibaro products. I recently purchased a Fibaro Lite unit and want to do something very simple.

I have two aeotec multisensor 6 units and want to trigger an email notification when the temperature sensor reaches a set value.

I need this email to be sent to an defined email address with a specific subject text and body text.

In the scene settings I can only send an email to the Fibaro registered user email address and the subject line can not be user defined.

Is there any other way this can be achieved ?

Alternatively is there anyway I can call run a ifttt command using a URL call like:

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hi @lanceharvie ,

An email is tied to a given user so if you want to send a message to an address different than the one you've registered, you might have to set up a new user.

    Thanks A.Smolinski

The challenge is not a new email address it's that I can't add a subject line.

I need the subject line because the subject line is needed for the iffft trigger.

In that case, I'm afraid it might be impossible.

Can  I request this as a new feature ?

It seems strange that email notification does not allow for a subject field.

Sure, I'll pass it on to our engineers and they'll look into that. ;)

Stay tuned and keep your fingers crossed!
