Moving from Domoticz to Fibaro

Recommended Posts

Hello,

New to the Fibaro Forum, greetings to all of you.

Started 5 years ago with Homewizzard, still moved on to Domoticz, after a couple of months.

After 5 years of Domoticz user, now it is time to move on to the next level.

Finally started the migration from Domoticz to Fibaro Home Center 2.

i already have a lot of Fibaro devices,,

The  reason of the move is the interface of domoticz,, i saw the fibaro interface and was really impressed.

also some devices where kaku (rfxcom) so they have to discontunued)

After one week of migration I’m still very happy with the system, (and my wife to)

Domoticz still keeps on running for my SolarEdge  and Smart meter solution.

The Fibaro Home Center 2 is currently serving the following devices,.

But Im still in the migration process.

migration is very easy, just exclusion of the devices in domoticz and leaning mode in home center 2.

6 x Greenwave Node 6 Sockets

4 x Greenwave Node 1 Sockets

4 x Fibaro Wall switch

2 x Fibaro Dimmer

2 x Fibaro smoke

1 x MCO Homeswitch 4 button

1 x Fibaro Floodsensor

1 x Fibaro Doorsensor

.2 x Aeon  Labs Smart Switch

Keep you informed.

This weekend the  migration of my 15 x Philips Hue Lights.

Welcome,

i'm also running domoticz next to my HC2 for my smart meter / water meter and solar panels. a extra scripts on my domoticz raspberry pi pushes the values to global vars on my HC2. on the HC2 there is a virtual device where i can see al the values.

this also could be good solution for you to.
