[SOLVED]Single Switch .....do I need the wall switch ?

Mr R

Question

I have lamp in my corridor that I only want to control only by my HCL.  My question is; do I really need the switch i have been using up till today?  If yes; why ?
I really do appreciate your answers.

I intend to only use Single Switch and the motion sensor .

No, you do not need any extra (old) switch. It's great to control the lighting with just a Motion sensor and a Single Switch.

I have done so in my garage where the power switch is sitting at the "wrong" door.

No, you do not need to use S1 or S2 if you do not need it. Leave them as they are. You can use them at a later time if you see that you need to control the Switch with other features.
