Calibration of motor without limit switches

ffeyel

Question

Hello,

I have a FAAC blind motors, which I equipped with a Roller-shutter 2.

This motor does not have mechanical limit switch. Instead, the previous controller detected the open and close limits by checking the power consumption.

As stated by the Roller Shutter, the power is about 152 Watts while the motor is running, and 170 Watts when it reaches the limit.

How can I parameter the Roller Shutter to "see" this power difference and hence do the calibration ?

Hi @ffeyel ,

We do not recommend using a Roller Shutter 2 with a limitless motor. I'd strongly suggest that you went for a different motor instead.
