Roller Shutter 2 installation without N lead

zazie99

Question

Dear Forum Members,

I have a blinder wall switch without N lead. Can anyone help me how to install Fibaro Roller Shuter 2 without an N lead? I spent 2 hours mounting and dismounting, etc. without any positive result.

I would appreciate your opinion or help even more.

Thanks!!!

Hi @zazie99,

Using Roller shutter without N lead is imposible. Only Dimmers can work without N lead at this time.

I know it is what you do not want to hear, but this device needs L and N lead to work.

Regards,

Jakub

  • Thanks Jakub for the swift answer, It is bad news, I threw out some money on the window, but at least I'm sure now that my roller shutters can not be automated by the Fibaro way. Sorry to read that, but thanks again for the fast reply, I'll let this wish go...!

My wall switches also do not have an N-lead. The N-lead is in a distribution wallbox above the wall switch near the ceiling. That is where I put the fibaro.

  • Thanks, I gave it up, when an electrician visits me next time, I'll ask him to do it for me, it went above my competences. Unfortunately. But thanks again, I appreciate your answer.
