Camera integration

Matic

Question

Hi,

I am trying to connect camera and I added it manually. I filled all streams needed and tested them in browser to make sure they work. But with fibaro I do not get any picture. There is only one small icon. Does anybody know what it means, or where the problem could be?

I have authentication set to basic.

Hi @Matic,

Seems, to me that stream path (mjpg and jpg paths) could be in bad format.

In jpg and mjpg path do you use slash (character /) as 1st character or not? Can you post mjpg and jpg paths?

Regards,

Jakub

  • I tried with / and without, currently I have it like this:

    My camera is Dahua HFW1431SP

    192.168.1.108

    /cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi

    /cgi-bin/mjpg/video.cgi?subtype=1

If I try this paths in browser it works fine.

  • Hi @10der, I tried and with no results.

I have got a different camera not, for testing. It is axis F41 and with the same problem. I tried default settings of fibaro(picture), and alo tried path from previous post.

Paths on the picture are working if I use them in browser.

Anyone with ideas, what can I change?

  • Ok thanks.....I get it now. When I copy the url it asks me for password an username, I will ask the manufacterer to get url in which I will insert my username and password and will directly open the snapshot, without additional authentication.

I will post the correct url path when I get it.
