Door/Window sensor 2 battery lasting only couple of weeks

Hello I bought a window sensor and added to my homekit home. The battery is going down very quickly. It is the second time now that lasts less than a month.

any thoughts?

Hello ccantore,

 

that reminds me to a problem I had with a z-wave type. I recognized that the blue LED is blinking every 4 minutes or so. That seems a kind of malfunction. The support recommended me to exchange it. The new one works as I expected. It is not easy to watch 4 minutes on a spot but maybe you can put it in front of your keyboard so you can see it during working on other things.
