S1 no action on Q1

Question

Guest jcs10

Hi,

I'd like to connect a door sensor NC on S1 and another NC on S2, but don't want them to act on the relay Q1 and/or Q2

1/ Is this possible?

2/ I'd like to get a notification if the status is changing on the switch, is this possible?

Best,

JC

No it's not possible to do.

You can't use S1 and S2 for door sensors. I advise to use a universal sensor or door and window sensor.

@Reinhold,  Is your reaction specific to door sensors?

I also want to do something else with the input / output on a double switch 2..

I have several lights connected to several double and RGBW switches.

I want to connect an door-toggle-switch to S1 of one double switch 2, and when pushed it must start a Lua scene.

The scene checks if all the lights are in off state. And if so, then switches all the lights on.

Or, if one of the light is on, then it must switch off just that one light..

Now it always flash the light connected to output Q1 of that switch.

is it possible, to disconnect S1 to Q1?

tx.
