Hello,

I would like to install the fibaro system inside my switches...

The system need to be HomeKit.

The problem is that I don't understend if the fibaro device can be used with my switch.

(I attached some photo of my switch system)

There is 3 switches who control 3 place.

- The kitchen

- The dining room

- the living

Switches for the kitchen and for the living can be controlled at 2 place.

The dining room can be controlled at 3 place.

So can I install the fibaro system compatible with HomeKit ? is it working with switches who are controlled at different places ?

here is some photos of the installation

Thanks for your answer ! I really hope it is possible !! :)

Check this wire diagram. For toggle wire system you need only 1st and last (toogle switch) w/o intermediate switch (kitcher and living room). With intermediate switches (in your example - you need only one intermediate switch with two toggle switches) adding to your dinning room...

  • Hi ggrizliv

I thank you very much for your answer.

it's the first time I'm working with electricity and I didn't understood well your answer.

If I understand my system the switches from my photos are :

    Kitchen : 2-way switch

    Living-room : 2-way switch.

    Dining room : Intermediate switch

    So...

    - If I want my kitchen to be HomeKit I need to put the fibaro single switch on the first 2-way switch from my photo. way switch controls the kitchen)

    - If I want my living room to be HomeKit I need to put the fibaro single switch on the second 2way switch from my photo

    - but what can I do for the dining room ?

Or maybe I didn't understand nothing and I just have to put just on fibaro switch for the kitchen AND the living room ?

I'm really sorry not understanding well.

It is definitely possible and I suggest to get someone who does understand how to wire the system. For multi switch wiring, you should be little bit more "skilled". And I do suggest to use momentary switches instead of  bistable. Than also wiring is little bit simpler.
