Connecting air to water heat pump with Fibaro

Jorgen Nittim

Question

Hello!

I have Fujitsu Waterstage Comfort series heat pump WSYA100DG6 / WOYA080LFCA with added wireless room thermostat UTW-C58XD (optional part from Fujitsu).

Question: is there any way to connect Fibaro HC2 with my heat pump or it's room thermostat to control it from my smartphone or atleast display the heat pump status (different temperatures, working or not working, etc.)?

Some more information:

Please login or register to see this link.

If anyone is kind enough to help me out I would very much appreciate it!

  • Hello!

Since this is IR extender it can not be used because my heating system does not use IR.

The wireless room thermostat that I have installed uses radio frequency (unknown).

    Jorgen

The options kit mentions a web server, do you have this and have an app that can get status? I ask as I have a Windhager boiler and that also has a web server option which I have and I have reverse engineered the interface so that I have a VD that contacts the web server and gets the status. This is a likely way in for you, but may not be cheap if you dont already have that web server option as it would require someone to install it for you.

  • Hi!

Yes I am aware of the web server version and I do not own one- expensive + requires static ip. Because of that this is not an option.

There are lots of terminals for different relay options inside the heating pump's box- maybe taking picture of the device's terminals or user manual would help?
