Hi, I activated Fibaro skill on Alexa on my Hc2. First impression, very good !
Alexa found the different devices I have with Fibaro ( mainly relays, dimmers, one plug and a few rugby controllers) , also picked up the scenes , and it looks it work well .
However I have some confusion with names I originally used in Fibaro, as they are too similar among them. It is not an issue when I control Fibaro with the app of course, but it become with alexa. So I think I have to go tune some of the names. To add more confusion I have a relay named "living room", a Sonos named "living room" and a plug "living room corner". , and a Scene "Turn on Living room" . Now, for the Scene "Turn on Turn on Living room" works !! . But for the individual devices, Alexa often answers me back : you have too many devices named living room .
Once the easy job to change names in Fibaro will be done, How can I update these names in Alexa ? and How in the future if I create a new Fibaro scene can I update Alexa list ? I wonder if I risk to have double names if I deactivate the skill and activate it again . An "Update" option will be nice
Any suggestion ?
thanks
Giovanni
