Vision Deadbolt Door Lock with Handle - VIS_ZM1702

Question

Hi all,

I'm thinking to buy a Vision Deadbolt Door Lock with Handle - VIS_ZM1702

Please login or register to see this link.

On Fibaro compatibility site there is a generic entry that seems to apply to all vision locks

Please login or register to see this link.

Is anybody actually using it with HC2? which release? I am still using 4.510 because I don't do upgrades during winter...

Thanks!

R

I have a V ZM1702 EU. Had it for about two years before my Fibaro HC2 could  support it, but after an other two years still no template. The basics seems to be working most of the time, but to me not stable enough for everyday use. At the moment 4.520 and device added in secure mode and listed as:

Device kind:Door lock / Producer:Vision Security / Version:5.8 / Configuration:Device configured / Z-Wave protocol type:3 / Z-Wave protocol ver.:3.40

My judgement is - better to hold your horses and wait for newer/upgraded hw and sw support - but others may chime in...

Sorry, but I have no personal knowledge of the Danalock - or any other z-wave lock.
