Dimmer 2 installation problem

Sponken

Question

Usually I can figure things out but this time i'm getting nuts.

I have just bought a dimmer 2 and does not yet have a the home center. My idea is that I use the dimmer as a "normal" non smart dimmer until I have bought the home center.

I have installed it according to the manual (I think) but the auto calibration does not start. The only thing I see is a red diod light and the lamp is turned on, but on very low effect.

The lamp that I'm using has 30 dimmable led light (think they are 2w each).

I have have used the two-wire connection schema. The button has two independent switches and I have connected button 1 to S1 and button 2 to S2.

Can't figure this out and would appreciate any feedback!

Thanks!

It looks like your dimmer 2 has an load error, did you make sure that your lights are connected right? Maybe one wire is not probably inside the light terminal ? U need to check how many watt your lights totally are.

U also need to perform first a force calibration this might be working.

press in the B button on FIBARO dimmer 2 until u see a red light release it and pres once again.

Can u connect as 3 wire system ?

@Sponken

it can be three things...

- you need a neutral line

or

- you need a bypass 2

or

- you need to add the device to a controller
