FGS212 Connecting to HC2

Matt_M

Question

I have a FGS212 EU v2.2. I have set up a test rig of a mains lead and bulb holder before installing it in the wall switch. The following connections:

N - Mains Neutral and Light Neutral
L - Mains Live and Bridge wire
IN - Bridge wire from L
Q - Live to Light

I set the HC2 into learning mode and press the B button on the dimmer 3 times but nothing is being detected. I have tried doing a reset holding down B button for 3 seconds but that made no difference. Have I got anything wrong with the wiring please or are there any ideas as to what might be going wrong?

Thank you

  • Hi thanks for this. My HC2 is completely empty of devices as it was reset and updated to the latest firmware. Is that something I can still do as I can’t see how? Thank you

  • Hi, I have tried this but it does not remove either. When learning mode starts I press the B button three times but the learning mode doesn't see the device at all.

    @Matt_M remove is always possible,

    does the fgs212 has 230volt?

    if you can't remove it and there is power on the fgs then the fgs must be defect. (or to great diststance between the homecenter and the device)

    you have to push the button very fast!

  • If I take the light out of the circuit so I just have a live and neutral to the FGS212 should the FGS212 still be discoverable by the HC2 please. I am just thinking of trying to simplify everything for test purposes. Thank you

    Same issue for me.

    Connected as it should but isnt picked up by home system. I have other fibaro switches and wallsockets in the same area that are working. So relay seems like faulty product to me. To many in this forum that has this issue.

    How can I exclude it if it never get paired to my home system, not detectable at all?
