Use double switch for controlling a water pump

Hello everyone,

 

i would like to use the Fibaro dual relay fgs-222 to control my swimming pool water pump. Is it possible? Is the good fibaro device? In attachment you can find the pump I have. It is this model:

Thanks Sean for the super quick reply. How should I wire the fgs222 ? Today the water pump is directly connected to the timer with no switch in the middle. I would like to add the fgs222 in a way that I can keep the current timer and be able to start the pump via fibaro when I want.

Hi Karel,

The FGS-222 can handle 1.5kW per relay and you pump draws 0.65kW so that shouldn't be a problem.

i use one to control my Central Heating and Hot Water and have found it to be 100% reliable so far.

I think that in the instruction is an example with light, going further, change the light as your pump, and the switch as your timer, and you will have a schema
