New Home Centre App - User Authorization Issue




I downloaded the new app and everything works well, logging into Fibaro ID and finding the HC2. However, once I click on the HC2, I am blocked with a prompt that cites "User Authorization Issue".


Any ideas anyone?

I have this issue as well! I fixed it, had no device installed yet, so the installation wasn't complete yet. That's why it didn't connect. Hope it helps others.

I had the same issue, when trying to access by the New Fibaro Home Center App from mobile.

It sad, after logging in and selecting my HC2, that "User Authorization issue".


The following has to be done to make it work:

- follow the HC2 configuration in the FAQ - means, HC2 installed, confgured, and important, at least 1 room and 1 device to be added !

- then the name and the psw have to be the same at HC2 internet access and in the new Fibaro Home Center App (the FIBARO ID)

- Install the Fibaro Home Center to mobile

- Register the FIBARO ID (same name , psw as HC internet access) - then it will switch between automatically later, otherwise not !

- Add your HC2 to the "Remote Access" section to be able to access to HC2 from the internet outside home

- Close the HC App

- RE-START the HC2 unit (power off - remove from the power plug for at least 1 minute !!!) - this is very important, that was my main issue, otherwise the FIBARO ID and the HC2 online access are not syncronized, thus you get the  "User Authorization issue"

- Start the App, go further and select your HC2, then Log-in

- Now it should work.

- If not, then remove the App from Mobile, re-start the HC2 again and re-install the App - then login as usual


This method was solving my issue and now it is working fine. I hope it will help others as well.
