I have bought your Flood sensor and I don´t have any other things so I don´t have any gateway. The problem is that the sound of the alarm is so low that we cant hear it. It is placed in the basement and we have an open staircase. Furthermore the sound vary and we have had short periods of high sound. What is wrong?

To use this device without controller is not the best idea. The sensor is noiseless, and it's better to connect the device to one of siren (or buzzer) via a controller.
