reverse sensor logic

Emilio

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I've the fibaro door sensor, finnaly to get it upgraded to version 1.20 but now i have the following isssue.

It's used for my garage door so when the magnet is away from the sensor the state of the sensor should be closed.

when de magnet is near the door state should be open.

Normaly i would use the reverse logic for this but that isn't working when de magnet is away from the sensor the door state is open :(

anybody any idea removed the sensor from the fibaro app and added it again changed it to normal door sensor enz enz

thanx

Emiel

Hmm, if this is the FGK-10x, You're talkin 'bout - then may-be the parameter 2 can save the day?

--8<--- The Manual of sensor

2. Door/Window or alarm status
Parameter defines state of the sensor when the magnet is close. If the
alarm sensor is connected, it determines the output type. Parameter
inactive in external button mode (parameter 1 set to 1).
Available settings: 0 - door/window closed
1 - door/window opened
Default setting: 0 Parameter size: 1 [byte]

-->8---

But yep, from the GUI i see the same functionality for parameter 1

--8<---

Parameter 1

Door/window state
This parameter allows to set in what state is door/window when the magnet is close to the sensor.

-->8---

And to confuse little bit more - for FGK - 101 - 107 v2.1 - v2.3 the manual says, there is parameter 3 for type of input

--8<---

Parameter no. 3
Type of IN input.
Default value: 0 – INPUT_NC (Normal Close)
Available parameter settings:
0 – INPUT_NC (Normal Close)
1 – INPUT_NO (Normal Open)
2 – INPUT_MONOSTABLE
3 – INPUT_BISTABLE
Parameter value: 1 [byte].

-->8---

    Uuuuuups... yes, my bad ;( Look the wrong area.

    But from the Your device's manual i also see parameter 2 and meaning of "open/closed when the magnet is near".
