False alarms from smoke detector

Daviper

Question

Updated my Home Center Lite to 4.540 this weekend.

After the reboot, one smoke detector starts sending out that there is a fire on the ground floor. And it keeps doing that the hole day, so I remove it from the system, still continues to send out alarms.

So I get relly frustrated and remove thhe battery, still the alarms coninue to spam my mail and phone. I guess a restart of the Home center is next?

OK, did a restart, and the problem just got worse, more alarms about fire from the same sensor, unplugged eith no battery in it.....

    Hello, just FYI:
I had this same problem with my Home Center 3 .
Removed them from the devices and then also removed battery.
Then reboot of HC3 but that did not work so I had messages from every smoke alarm every minute!
After hundreds of messages it stopped by itself.
