Steinel IS-140-2 parameters unchangeable

aleks

Question

Hi there,

i have some problems changing the parameters of steinel motion sensor.

Due to this blog i tried to set up the parameters:

Please login or register to see this link.

After first time inclusion of the steinel I only get undefined as value for every parameter.

so i did the following steps.

- excluded

- resetted

- included again

now i get the default values in the parameters but i have no idea how to change the values.

after changing the values and pressing the save button the default values show up again.

Any idea what to do next?

Can anyone explain me why parameter 8 has to be set to 0 to work with the HC2?

As long it seems to work in the default value.

Thanks for your help

  • @tinman: Thanks for the link.

Seems to be a firmware problem in the current version.

i will try either api or lua and will report if it worked -  but might not be before weekend

Try setting them on the master device, not the slave device.

should work regardless if template is available or not.
