Neo Coolcam motion sensor parameter changing

Pilou

Question

Hello everybody!

I see that I'm not the only one whos has problems with changin of the parameters of Neo Coolcam products. But I can't find a solution in the forum for a HCL controller. I can't use the LUA protocol... Has somebody found a solution for this issue? The firmware version for the motion sensor is 3.97 and the controller (HCL) is 4.54

Thanks...

I'm using Neo Coolcam motion sensor and don't have any problems to change the parameters.

Just change parameters according to the user's guide.

Here an example from my system

Bug introduced in fw 4.540. Not fixed yet. Might be fixed on the next HC fw release. Possible workaround:

The suggestion to use the api is sane, but "tricky", seems not everybody can make it work... I use Lua but on HCL that is not an option.

True, but on HCL you could still work with REST. It just need validated JSON. I have tried that with Danalock and it worked for me.

Thanks for trying that... I guess the tricky part is "not damaging the json" when editing or adding data...
