Create home alarm trigger to activate automation

FilippoFabbrini

Question

I will do my best to explain what I need.

I have an alarm system that can "tell" me when it is turned on ( I mean in alarm ) with 2 wires dry contact.

I would use this dry contact to activate a "trigger" to start an automation at home ( some lights on) .

It is like a virtual switch to wire to S1 in the relay but I can't us L because there is tension there.

Is there a wiring diagram to do that?

Thank you for your help

  • I was thinking too that Sjakie, could you post a wiring diagram?

I was searching something else right now and I found this, could it work with a fibaro relay?

I will just use L and N and blue wires for dry contact but this drawing seems to be wrong
