garage door opener

Question

Hi, hope you can assist = )

I use a simple doorbell as a momentary button to make a contact between two points on my hormann garage door opener. Push a button, door begins to open. push again, door stops. push again, door closes. etc.

can i use this product to mimic the same button press so i can open the door using smartthings ? I already have the device installed, where I can see and control s1 and s2 on/off.

thanks!

You need a dry (no volt) contact. The Smart Implant might be able to do what you need but it depends on the voltage and current of that input. Any specs? Model?
