Question

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a UPS and see that some of them have a transfer time of 4 or 5 ms

Will this be acceptable for the HC2 or cause an issue ?

Thanks

Power suplies are designed with enough back-up energy stored to handle "a few lost mains cycles" so that is OK.

Hi AutoFrank,

did you buy a VI (Line-Interactiv) UPS ?

Could you make a test ? (power failure, and HC2 continues business as usual?)

I'm really interested if up to 4 ms is acceptable for a HC2.

(I tend to buy a VFI (Double Conversion) UPS with a transfer time of 0 ms, just to make sure, but expensive.)
