FGR223 & Physical Switch latency

SebC

Question

Hi all,

I just bought a FGR223 to control my blinds.

I followed the manual, installed it in my domoticz system (in a synology nas) and everything is fine, but...

There's approximatively 2s of delay when I press the switch (up or down) before the blind really moves. Off course there's no problem without the fgr233 module!

Please can you tell me how I can reduce this delay to 0ms so movement is instant! What is the parameter to change ?

Thanks a lot ! I hope there's a solution or i'd probably use another solution for my domotic system.

Please help meeeee...

Hi SebC,

i have five FGR223 Roller Shutter in use on my Raspberry Pi with Z-Wave Software and i observed latency is spreading between different firmware, but not in this ranges about 2000 ms.

My configiuration: Hardware switches on Input S1 and S2 (see Parameter Value 20 = 0)

with Firmware V5.0 - Click Command feel normaly (about 250ms-400ms)

with Firmware V5.1 - Click Command is very short (about < 200ms)

I can't find parameter for setting latency times.

Now I will do upgrade to V5.1 but this is my actual problem with my raspberry - i have no firmware file.

Sorry, i now, this is not the absolutley solution, but i had no more advice.
