I would like to ask if any one knows a way to control a 2 wired somphy motor for a curtain with Fibaro. the wires are Line and Neutral and controlled using a remote control.

the only way i can think of would be the smart implant.

just attach the smart implant to the remote control.

on the remote solder some wires onto the buttons and then attach those wires to the implant terminals.

on the fibaro you will then have open/close commands

Hello @engsafadi75 ,

What Somfy Motor do you have?

Have you thought about using FIBARO Roller Shutter?

Maybe this link could be helpful:

unfortunately the roller shutter wont work as the motor only has 2 wires. permanent live and neutral. the roller shutter can only control motors that have 2 lives ie 1 for up and 1 for down

  • Hi @morpheus75

    Thank you for your answer.

    HI @M.Andrzejewska ;

    Thank you for your support.

    I have a somphy roller motor that only has 2 wires (Line & Neutral) like the attached picture. I want to use the Fibaro roller shutter but it requires a motor with the 3 wires (Up, Down and Neutral) which can be implemented easily as shown in the link you put.

    Thank you

    Can you record a video for controlling this roller motor with controller and attach the controller's photo as well?

    I think there are some ways to include it into Fibaro.

    All motors RTS are controled by radio wave. You cant connect tis motor direct to Fibaro Roller Shutter device. This motor has inside radio modul. You can controled it by radio remote control.
