Aeon Labs Garage Disable Alarm parameters

Nickk

Question

Hi, I have the Aeon Labs Garage  door controller paired to a HCL.  The operates great, but there's an alarm on open/close which is super annoying.

I'm not 100% sure what additional parameters I should be setting in HCL for this device as there are seem to be many values per parameter which need to be entered in Hexadecimal. Anyone had any experience with exactly what I should be setting as parameter value for 37 to 40?

Hi NIck. You probably have already know the answer, but here what I did to disable sound:

1. Go into advanced configuration of garage door controller

2. Scroll down to find configuration parameters 41, 43 and 44

3. Click add parameter, type 37, keep data type 1d, type in desired value 0

4. Repeat step 3 with type 38, 39 and 40

5. Save

6. Test

PS. when you comeback to config it will change it to type 4d and value will be long number, bur it worked for me just fine.
