co sensor values

I like to know if the sensor transmits the values to the controller.

I have one and on the controller it's always zero (no updates at all)

Hello @akatar , 

I can see that you have received temperature reading from the CO sensor, so the communication and value's transmission to the main controller is successful.

However, if you can please check parameters 23, 25, 26: 

Parameter 23 activates reporting the value of CO concentration level to the main Z-Wave controller.

Parameter 25 defines a minimum change in CO concentration level which results in sending a new value to the main Z-Wave controller.

Parameter 26 defines the CO concentration level, which exceeding will result in sending a new value to the main Z-Wave controller, according to parameter 25 settings. Adjusting the value allows to get the accurate data in case of danger and helps to save the battery in normal conditions.

I did check and change the values, 23 should be akay, that is the default value.

i will see and report back if things are changing or not.

@M.Andrzejewska i did the trick with a bowl upside down with a candle en the co sensor, flame died, value went up to 32, but no alarm.

 

but the value changed.

@akatar please keep in mind that alarm response times on default settings is:    

50ppm 60-90min
100ppm 10-40min
300ppm <1.5min

 

That means that the alarm is turned on when the level of 100ppm last for 10-40min. After that time this concentration of carbon monoxide may be harmful for you. 

 

You can also try to perform a self-test:

1. Press and hold the button.
2. The LED indicator will glow white and you will hear a short beep.
3. Release the button when you hear the first alarm sequence.
4. Move away from the device to protect your hearing.
