Sensor switching On after Off

umtauscher

Question

Hi,

I have a problem with a new motion sensor (firmware version 3.2) which I recently installed.

The problem is, that it switches on immediately after switching off. I suppose it is because it recognises the lamp going off as motion and switching on again immediately.

This sensor replaces an older version of the sensor using firmware 2.6 which doesn't have that problem.

So either the parameter 2 (blind time=15) doesn't work  or the sensor is much much more sensitive that before. I have already tuned the sesitivity down from 10 (default) to 50 but I still cannot get the device to finally switch off and stay that way.

Does the newer firmware 3.3 fix this problem, is there a trick to tune the device to ignore the lamp or is the device simplly defective.

I would love to hear your advice.

Thanks
