Hello all,

Can someone please help.

I have a fibaro hc2 - google home and a chromcast.

With google home i can say Hey Google, turn off tv and the tv is turning off thanks to the chromcast.

Now i want to make a scene in fibaro where i can turn off the TV bij a scene.

How can i do this ???

Can some please provide me a direction how it has to be done?

Hi,

I don't think it's possible.

There is no native chromecast api.

it's not a matter of Fibaro possibilites - just Google doesn't allow that.

Turning off the TV is done by Google Home via the ongoing encrypted connection to Google. The Google Assistant doesn't make a direct connection to the Chromecast as there are no open incoming ports behind the NAT connection.

You have to buy another device like broadlink rm pro (hardware for sending  IR commands) or use fibaro wall plug (power off tv)

You can always check your tv manual - look up for the POST/GET HTTP commands and use them in fibaro lua scene.
